Role of Thai Intelligent Transport Systems Association (ITS)

Thai Intelligent Transport Systems Association (ITS) is a national organization established to promote the development and implementation of Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) across Thailand. It brings together government agencies, private companies, universities, and industry experts to improve transportation through advanced technologies. As a recognized member of ITS Asia Pacific and the ITS World Congress, the association supports research, innovation, policy development, and knowledge sharing. Its mission is to enhance road safety, traffic efficiency, and sustainable mobility for a smarter transportation future.

ITS Mission

Thai Intelligent Transport Systems Association (ITS) aims to promote research, development, education, and standardization of Intelligent Transport Systems while connecting stakeholders from government, industry, and academia. The association also represents Thailand internationally and encourages knowledge sharing to advance smart and sustainable transportation.

ITS History

Thai Intelligent Transport Systems Association (ITS) was officially established on 25 February 2008 with the vision of "Toward a Better Life with ITS." Since its founding, it has represented Thailand in both ITS Asia Pacific and the ITS World Congress, promoting intelligent transportation nationwide.
